The Willow group for cancer support
The Willow Group was founded by Sally Green and Cathy Burbidge in 2010.
To provide a self help support group, not only for cancer patient but their loved ones as well! This makes Willows unique.
The Willow group run a drop in group every Friday morning at 10am until 12noon at the Bridgwater Arts Centre, where you can relax in an informal fun filled atmosphere, whilst enjoying homemade cake and a hot drink.
The drop in group session is FREE of charge, however we do apprieciate donations to cover the cost of the drinks.
So why not come along and join in, there are no strangers here, only friends you've yet to meet!
We also run a raffle for those wishing to take part for a £1 a ticket.
IMPORTANT POLITE NOTICE:
If you are feeling unwell with a potentially contagious illness or infection, PLEASE DO NOT come to the group session. Some of our members have been receiving complex radio and chemo therapy treatments, which leaves them with a suppressed immune system. What may be a funny tummy or cough/cold for you can be a life threatening condition for a cancer patient.
